Is treatment for Kernicterus possible?

Kernicterus is also called Bilirubin Encephalopathy. It more often occurs in premature infants rather than fully grown infants.

As a parent you need not worry too much. The treatment for the baby with Kernicterus exists depending on the severity of the condition of Kernicterus in the baby. The treatment involves reducing the level of Bilirubin in the body. This basically reduces the jaundice in the baby. Once the jaundice condition of the baby reduces, it is simpler to get the baby completely cured.
